At cb. we believe…

in skating as an art form without restriction.
in expression as a translation of our heart song.
in the ice as a place of divine practice.
that skating is for everyone.

in a love that knows no bounds.
that no human great or small belongs on the periphery.
that seeing is believing, in ourselves and in a greater good.
that representation matters.

in love, patience and acceptance.
in fairness and accountability for our actions and inaction.
that vulnerability is a form of magic.
in all dreams and that we are capable of Revolution.

The cb. Difference.

Our company runs very differently that most others in the industry.

The brand is all about community, meaning the relationship we create with each and every one of our clients is above all else.

Besides, we know what it's like to train hard with a demanding schedule. To make life easy, we do our best to accommodate the superheroes we call mom & dad, especially when it comes to scheduling & locations.

These days, technology is wonderful thing. no client is too far and we are only ever a click or call away. We have so many resources geared towards making this a “seamless” process for you.

Our clients are like family to us - you’ll realize once you’re ‘in.’ There is nothing we love more than to see our clients succeed not only in skating, but in life.

“who better to know what a figure skater needs than a figure skater?”

Two Cents on Garment Design:

  1. When you look and feel your best, you’re going to perform well. Its a fact. The look-good, feel-good mentality is science.

  2. As a former competitive skater Charlene knows exactly how important it is to marry the elements of comfort and style.

  3. A performance garment is the visual thread that ties the physical and musical components of the program together.

  4. Chromesthesia (synesthesia) is the perception of colors when listening to music. In other words, she hears music in colors.

  5. Bespoke garments capitalize on the skater’s body type, skin tone, desired look & preference. The only capitalism we like.

this isn’t just a skating garment.
this is a moving piece of art.

Everybody Starts Somewhere.

  1. This company started at Gramma’s kitchen table and still occurs at it from time to time. Dream big, but stay humble.

  2. Char never went to school for design and is self-taught. Don’t be afraid to do what you love. Passion is fuel. So are donuts.

  3. Within 8 months of it’s inception, cb. had five (5) custom pieces compete at the Canadian National Championships.

  4. Three years into business, cb. held an on-ice fashion show on The Bentway downtown TO with over 400 spectators.

  5. One of cb.’s long-term goals since 2015 was to make the flower retrievers’ outfits for CTNSC - checked it off in 2020.

if your dreams don’t scare you,
they aren’t big enough.
